Positive Solutions Counseling Center offers smoking cessation and weight loss groups using the revolutionary new techniques of Physical Memory Accessing (PMA). These right brain approaches give you the edge you have been missing in previous attempts to stop smoking or lose weight. PMA focuses on the right hemisphere of the brain where the senses, emotions and pleasure/pain systems are housed. The results are much quicker and more effective than using left brain approaches like willpower, logic and reason. These unique and comprehensive groups teach you to:
Smoking Cessation Groups
- Identify and change negative patterns and associations that keep you hooked
- Have the pleasurable brain chemistry of smoking without cigarettes
- Learn effective right brain techniques that address your senses and emotions – forget about willpower
- Develop your own “antagonists” that block the effects of cigarettes making it easier to quit
- Learn self-hypnosis techniques you can use at home to maintain your stop smoking success

Weight Loss Groups
- Set yourself up for success using a therapeutic approach to weight loss
- Turn on your weight loss brain chemistry
